When Harry Met Sally
I decided to choose the movie When Harry Met Sally. This is a classic movie that I have loved since the first time that I watched it. In this movie these two people meet and they drive across the United Sater states together. They do not like each other at first. Later in life, they meet again and they eventually become friends. They both go through divorces and after awhile they become best friends. They do everything together and eventually after one of them goes through an emotional crisis they end up sleeping together. After they sleep together, things get awkward and their friendship ends. However, they both really love each other, it is just a matter of when one of them confesses that to the other. In the end, which is my favorite scene, it is New Years Eve and Sally is at a party. Harry finally realizes how much he loves her and runs to meet her before midnight. He shows up and gives her this speech about how much he loves her. The speech he gives her is the best couple lines in the movie. It is very romantic because they end up kissing right at midnight on New Years Eve.

I have never seen When Harry Met Sally but I love the clip that you showed in class. The part that caught my attention as the most romantic part is when he started listing off why he loves her, not just that he loves her. The things that he listed weren't characteristics that a normal person would seek out in a significant other but he has gotten to know her so well that those are some of the things he loves about her, even though some of the things drives him nuts. A lot of times people wont realize they like thigns about people until that person is gone and then they realize that they miss it.
I agree that this scene was very romantic. I will say that it does sort of contribute to the somewhat "unattainable" romance that the media shows. I can see how guys feel pressure to do all these things after seeing clips like this. You can't deny that it's adorable and any girl would love for a guy to say that to her. I always wonder why guys don't do things like this more, I mean there's perfect examples of it everywhere, all they have to do is copy it :)
haha yeah marissa, your right...guys just need to watch these types of movies more and they will learn! haha
